The Finnish Center of Excellence in Tumor Genetics is a research consortium funded by the Academy of Finland for 2018-2025.

Our goal is to improve the understanding of the functions of the genome and to bring genomic medicine into practice.

Alison London is an MSc graduate in Advanced Methods in Taxonomy and Biodiversity. Although she started out in Entomology, her interests and skill evolved and she expanded into molecular genetics in cancer research where she is now a Senior Lab technician in the Tumor Genomics Group and social media coordinator for the Finnish Center of Excellence in Tumor Genetics.
